Don't rule out private sales.
Some of the best Delica's were private deals. There are many honest members on this forum who I would have no problem buying from.
As for dealers, you won't find much negative feedback because of previous drama/politics on this forum and of course dealers that use this forum to elevate their own status. Take it with a grain of salt.
My advice to you is regardless of who you buy from, with the information on this forum, you should be able to make a solid educated decision on whether or not you're getting true service or getting the used car salesman service.
There are both types out there.

Re: Hello from Langley.... with a few questions
I have a question about the height of the van. I know there is a high or low roof available but i was wondering if the high roof is a problem on the ferry. We try to go to Tofino/Long Beach at least a few times a year and the ferry is expensive enough; paying for an over height vehicle would be a downer. A roof rack would make it over height for sure but has anyone had any issues with the height of their van on BC Ferries? If so it's not that big of a deal I guess but I was just wondering.
Another thing I was wondering is where to take one for a mechanical inspection? There must be a few places out there that are reputable and trust worthy.
Thanks again.
Karl

I think BC ferries has done away with the height restriction; now it's all about vehicle length. But you might have to relegate yourself to the main car deck instead of the upper ones.

Just hope what you're colliding with is lower than you (or a Volvo): http://www.vanagon.com/info/safety/volv ... /index.htmthedjjack wrote: I love the cab forward design (unless you crash that is)
