It will not be worth much not running. I would look for a used 100,000km motor and then sell it or keep it.
Best of luck

I agree, I've seen a few posted on craigslist for about $2000 not running and that's before the negotiations start. The only way you'd be able to make some decent money without installing a new motor is to part it out and that would take some time.

Ok i have great news................I found a 2nd 92 in calgary two days ago. I made the six hour drive down there and took a look. not to bad looking outside. i opend the door and i was in shock at what i seen, all the seats are ripped to the foam, the center where the shift boot is well its gone

. but i still was interested in the motor. i starded it up and she ran like a top. i had a good friend come with me who knows all about diesels, he said she has a long life left in her
so i tell the owner that in my eyes its a p.o.s but the motor is good , he thinks the same we come to a deal @ $3700 do up the bill of sale and then he pulles it out.... a stack of bills (oil changes and stuff like that i think), no more than that. a new tranny new head rebuilt inj pump glow plugs.... i couldnt beleve my luck... so now i have two

im gona post picks in a bit
between the two i should make one real sweat pajaro. the first one is mint inside and has a lift in it from Old man emue and 31' on it so ill swap that out right away

and ill have parts to last a life time.

i have some pics here, you can see the valve stuck in the piston, then you can see the new 2nd pajaro. the blue one has no motor and the green and silver one is good as gold
