I like the second pic down (picture Steve Irwin's voice):
"Crikey! It's a rare West Coast Delica hiding in the brush! Very unusual to see a beaut like that all the way out East here. Careful now; don't startle 'er! She'll disappear in a cloud of black smoke just like *that*!! (snaps fingers)"

I love it!!! Have you seen the Family Guy episode where they show a fire engine attacking its prey and how the ambulance's will have to wait their turn? It reminds me of that as well.
I was passed by a 4x4 Mitsubishi Delica with two large roof top boxes on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC on Saturday. I didn't see any lettering (but I was on a bicycle) but is was not "from around here." - I was really hoping they were camping at the same campground I was in, but when I returned from the ride, I did a big loop of the CG and didn't have luck. Too bad, I would have loved to have talked with them.
L300 passes a bicycle must have been a downhill!

Cool! I just replied to their post. He must have been one of the many bikers giving me thumbs up.

This is the first time I've seen a fuel filter on a pump before. I also took the van for a bath in lake Huron and got a bit picture crazy. Today I drove 1300km in 16 hours from Serpent River Native Reservation to Dryde (much nicer than my 19 hour 1600km drive to Yellowstone!) Off to Winnipeg tomorrow to meet some Delica people!

I had a great time visiting with VanVonVan and Manitoba deli at Lovey's diner today. I also found a nice photo op while looking for a place to take a leak.

Hey Nxski - by my calculations you may be coming through Kamloops next week. If that's the case maybe another meet is in order. We don't have an Ikea but I do have an Ikea catalog I could bring along. Meets in the interior are classified as 1 or more interested parties so it should be easy to get a quorum.

I will be in Kanloops, but unfortunately just for half a day in order to deliver a Kayak and say hi to a friend.

Another great meet, good fuel prices and fuel economy, hot water temp (it's been hotter but I've always freaked out too much to get a picture) and more proof that my van is slow, it took me 150km to pass a double-wide on wheels.

Unless something goes terribly wrong I will have one posting after this with a brief description of the trip and a picture of my brand new trailer.

I got a bit picture happy in the Rockies as they're one of my favourite places.
