Ride Height Control

Post by pajerochris »

Hey everyone,

My electronic ride height control has been acting up lately. When I enable it, it works fine (pressures up at a normal rate). However, when I am just driving with it disabled, sometimes the "HIGH" light on the dash (which informs me that the vehicle is lifted) flashes a few times. AFAIK, the system, when disabled, should never activate.

Does anybody know what could be causing this flashing? I don't feel any change or notice it lifting, but I'm thinking something is malfunctioning.

TIA,

Chris

Consider yourself uber fortunate that the ride height shocks were working to begin with. 8-)

If the solenoids on the shocks are not clicking when you change the selector but the dash light pops on, sounds like a loose connection between the switch and the instrument cluster.

The suspension lift works perfectly fine - operating the switch has the proper response. I just notice that when I'm not using the lift, the light flashes occasionally when im just driving normally.

flickering indicates a intermittent/loose electrical connection. I would start at the switch and if you have the time, behind the console.
