montreal mechanic?

can somebody recommend a mechanic in montreal to do timing belt/cooling system etc on an L300?

... Is Montreal near Powell River? Like.... wouldn't it be more practical to change it here before you go an a big long trip? Or is this for someone you know in Montreal? Sorry Ari, I'm confused... and intrigued.

um yeah.. dont you think i would just have my work done in coombs? i would! so its for a deli in montreal with 140+km that wants the work done before returning to BC this summer...

No idea personally but a shop that works on VW diesels would work in a pinch as changing the timing belt on the 2.5L is very similar to the VW motor (VW is slightly easier and has no balance belt).

thats what i told my bro.. go to a VW shop or other Euro or Toyota diesel shop

Afteroil,

these guys in St-Thèrese work, VW, Landys, diesel Mercedes. I'm sure that they'll have a competent mechanic that will be able to figure it out.
