Howdy from New Brunswick

Hi guys,
I am pretty new to this site, and to Delicas, and I am picking up my new to me van in Calgary in a couple weeks! It is a 1992 Exceed, foremerly owned by Bikepoor. Thanks to this site, I got to read all about the van, pros and cons through hundreds of posted from both previous owners (was the silk road thread really neccessary?). Needless to say I haven't been sleeping much.

My new ride is stored at Delica27's (Rubberduck's?) pad along with his recent purchase, a sweet Jasper edition that some of you met last weekend...remember flip-flops? Couldn't have put this together with out him on the ground out there, thanks JJ!
My lady friend and I are heading out in a couple weeks to drive'er home, with a few stops (er, detours?) along the way to see family. we have one week off work, and need to cover soem pretty serious ground.

Bikepoor seems to have the machine pretty dialed (timing belt, tie-rods, brakes, Canadian compliance, ets...) , just need an oil change before I hit the road, as far as I can tell. So, along with CAA for towing, a 3G IPad for site consultaions, and some warm sleeping bags, we should be OK if anything happens. Although I am new to Delicas and diesels, I am no stranger to the road, have gotten back recently from a two month moto trip to Panama and back.

Is there a list of Delica/Mitsubishi/deisel/reliable mechanics across the Great White North? I like to travel prepared, so above and beyond some mechanical essentials (filters, belts, etc...), I want to have some numbers in my back pocket just in case, you know? This site's Frappr map isn't working at the moment, so I don't have a good feel for who's around.

Can't wait to hit the road. Thanks to all members for the great info, and I am looking forward to contributing myself.

I know of one in Gravenhurst Ontario but he is out of the way from the Trans Canada by about 2 hours.
