Andy -- Beautiful Kitchenette. Please -- more details on the kitchenette. Size, stove type, power sources, water system etc. We could set up a mini meet when you're travelling through if you have time. Christine.

Christine, I can post some pictures but I will be traveling to Burnaby this evening to fill up with veggie oil from David. Maybe we could meet in the vicinity?

That has to be the sweetest set-up i have seen in ANY camper conversion...be it Deli, Westy, or Land Cruiser! Really nice job!

Did you by any chance draw up any plans? I have been looking, and it seems the cooler box is a simple enough set up. I was wondering how/what you used to build that table? Is it a custom-fabricated metal stand? Did you buy an existing one? How does it incorporate into the cooler box (i think i see the table top lying on top of the box, but what happened to the metal support bar?).

Also, where did you buy the combo sink/stove top?

Anyway, kick arse job!

Andy - in July last year you wrote:
I'll try it out this summer and probably make some changes or a new bumper when I get back to the shop in the fall
How did it go? Any changes, improvements, new developments? It would be interesting to get an update from you.
Thanks,
Sergiy.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I haven't been that motivated to work on the Van lately. I still very busy making and building things ( two new surf boards, a new machined aluminum spey fishing reel, a dozen aluminum bicycle racks etc) as this is one of my passions in life but the van hasn't really been the focus. The tire carrier is holding up well no major issues with it. My camper units work well although I will be adding a drain to the cooler this year as I ended up having to use more ice than I had counted on. I don't have any plans per se but I did make templates of the wheel well contours ( both horizontally and vertically) and I feel this is the best way to start. I found the actual sink and stove at a scrap yard for $50 and incorporated them into an aluminum counter top. I would have used stainless but I didn't have any on hand.

As for the table, I hide the leg just inside the cooler box next to the wheel well It just fits into that space perfectly! The base is a vertical tube and a bracket which actually ties the cooler to the wheel well as par of the structure. Very sturdy. I can get some pictures if you would like. The table top is a piece of ply wood with laminate on the top with routered edges. One suggestion for a table top might be checking a cabinet shop for the offcut from a sink install. This would be about the right size and already have the laminate attached. I hope this helps

very nice bumper!
only thing i would've done different is moved the time more left, making more room for a jerry can on the other side! ;)

your kitchen galley is also great! any chances of sending us the measurements, and mabye a few more photos? Only mod i would do to it is add a slider, so you can slide it outside the rear for cooking, and giving more temporary room on the inside of the bus.

nice job!
Roads!? Who the hell needs roads!?,

I also want to ask...

are your rear springs tired as they look very flat.. no curve to them.... or is that just the camera angle ??
