Bed and other interior storage ideas

Post by Erebus »

I've posted some photos in the past of my bed/storage setup, so I won't repeat them.

But I just came across a great source of ideas. On the Expedition Portal forum, there is an entire section on "storage solutions"

http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/f ... y.php?f=91

I just snooped through the first page of a 7-page thread entitled "Post up your drawer/storage system".

Keywords for searching: bed, beds, storage, drawer, drawers, platform, interior, sleeping

that grey drawer unit on page 7 is amazing! :-D

when i get a L300, i want to put a futon matress in the back along the wall opposite the sliding door. Having drawers underneath like that would be very cool. Then opposite the futon 'wall' i want to place a small cabinet; kitchen style. since the futon matress is about 40" wide, it should work. i have built a L300 using Google Sketchup, and things seem to fit.

im always looking at alternate storage ideas.

The entire forum has 6 pages, but the thread I first mentioned has 7. Maybe that's what he's referring to.

I think the slider door is on the wrong side, but the design looks awesome. Post some picks when it is all done.

Would love to see your steps in creating this.
Kind of like a raised in front of the camera scenario.
