Hey everyone. I just signed onto this site because I want some info on getting a Delica. Ive seen these vans in Thailand, Aus. and down in Baja Mexico. They are such a sweet ride, but I cant find em anywhere in the US. Especially here in the midwest. Does anyone know if there is a possibility to even get one here. I know if I did it would be a bitch to get parts and have it worked on, but still...Anybody know of someone doing this?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No go. US imports are restricted to 25 yrs old vehicles. That said I have seen Delica insured and for sale in the US but I have a feeling that it is not all- A OK...

I don't really know a lot about American customs, Geofski ~ and I hate giving good people disappointing news.... 
I get the impression that you would find it easier to immigrate to Canada and buy a Delica here than getting one into the States, at least for another eight or nine years. Perhaps there are loop holes.... General parts are not too hard as they are the same parts for other Mitsubishi vehicles.
