I picked up Andrew's kit and studied the manual for the rest of the night... In the morning I went to my friend's place and jacked up the back end to do some test fitting...



Looks like the heater in/out ports interfere with the hitch, the circles show where they would have to be to fit, but would still be extra difficult to install. Better to have them come out towards the front. Hitch has to come off to get the sway bar down for drilling the bracket mounts.


The exhaust has to be re-routed above the spring, or side-exit for the tank to fit.


Side exit wins for a cheap, quick 'get on with the install' hack.
