Ok i got the aluminum !! now i know what 150 sq. ft. of aluminum looks like. I should be able to get the firsrt batch of ten going late next week!!
I will try my hardest anyway.....
No final price yet but should be 150-175 at the most !! taxes included......hahaha.....
i will let everyone know. Then i will bring a bunch to a delica meet. I am perfectly happy mailing out any to people in remote places as well.

You're the best Fishslapper! I've got a cheque ready to send as soon as you want, just a PM with your address and it's in the mail - And not that Campbell River is esp. "remote", but I am grateful you are willing to send it over, at your convenience and my expense, of course! Thanks again for all you efforts and community spirit - Real top-shelf stuff.
Btw, are you any closer to getting a deli of your own...? Hope that works out for you.

Oh excellent!
Like Konadog said, If you PM me your mailing address, I will fire off a cheque to you post-haste! Just not sure how to get it to the island and not spend an arm and a leg shipping it!

Hi, fishslapper, well its great you finally did it.
as for you guys from the island, maybe fishslapper can give it to me all of them & send it by plane either harbour air or pacific coastal air.
will only go for 1 way bill, & you guys over there chip in & sort it out haft & haft for shipping cost. cost is $31.00 for 50 lbs min of parts or any item after that maybe 1 dollar each lbs. not bad. its faster.
just let me know maybe i can help, i am near the airport in rmd no problem. no charge for my time & Diesel to send it to victoria via air.
save 2 skid plate for me pls:
thanks you fishslapper for all the hard work.
cheers;

I take the ferry over often between vancouver/victoria for work.
I can take a big load of plates to Victoria if need be.

Totally great that things have been working out so well thus far. Thanks to all who've made it happen. When's the next lower mainland meet to buy one of these babies? Can we do a group install? Very excite...

Great work! Let me know how to get payment to you and I can arrange to pick up in Victoria if jfarsang brings them over.
Thanks for your efforts.

Using Paypal would be a great idea, nice and convenient. Maybe it can be arranged so that all the island buyers pay up so that jfarsang can bring all the plates in one shot. Of course, we would need to arrange a time to pick them up. Maybe during a monthly island meet?sahdot wrote:Great work! Give me about 2 weeks notice to pick 'em up and bring them over to Vic. I won't have time to deliver them around from place to place. Probably best thing would be for me to drop the lot off with someone in town and they can distribute them.

Re: Skid plate, pictures...
Ok, this is going to sound silly, but it kinda needs to be asked: Who do we send the money to? Fishslapper? Do we wait and forward to money through jfarsang? Do we use cheque or paypal? (or cash if jfarsang is collecting)
I'm sure the others are wondering as well.
thanks
