Correct me if I am wrong
1-There were NO LRH P-35W ever made...
2-They (RHD) were all locally converted to LHD (in South America, Phillipines, etc.).
So the question would be: does these "Home Made" conversion be "Canada approved" upon registering these over here as a thrue LHD ????

I don't think I've ever seen a P35W in LHD before, but who knows: all the European market L300s were LHD. Though there's something screwy going on with that one, it has a Chamonix badge on the back but it doesn't have the upholstery.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

European left hand drive L300 do exsit .The conversion Delis from righthand drive to lefthand drive are easy to spot they usually don't bother moving the parking brake lever so it stays on the right side of the console . Cheers Jay

Good point- there's at least one shot in there showing the passenger (right side) seat grab handle, which suggests this was built LHD and 4WD. I wonder which market had LHD P35Ws?Overlanderjay wrote:The conversion Delis from righthand drive to lefthand drive are easy to spot they usually don't bother moving the parking brake lever so it stays on the right side of the console . But Hey! Isn't driving on the wr... I mean right side of the car the BEST! I find it funny because my co-pilot always gets mixed up and heads for the driver's seat forgetting she doesn't like driving, but I've got pretty used to hopping in right off the sidewalk :pLapprentis wrote:I think I found it: this maybe the only place (?) were P35W were LHD from factory : Taiwan![]()

Just put the sliding door on the right side of the van and we're golden!

Re: Left Hand Drive L300
Yes, European left-hand drive L300s do exist, though they are quite rare. The conversion from right-hand drive to left-hand drive can be done, but like you said, it's not always done with full attention to detail. Often, the parking brake lever is left on the right side, which makes these conversions easy to spot.
