what did you do WITH your delica today
Got out to see...nothing.
Looked at the Audi. Just a perfect imprint of my tire on his bumper in dirt.
235 75R15 tires stick out about 1" from the body. :)
He says,"You OK?"
I says," Yup. You?"
He says, "Yup".
We says,"Phew!"
My dad used to say,"If you can read, you can do anything!"

Lucky! That could have been unpleasant.
I have the Strada back on the road after resting for the winter. Loaded a good amount of scrap from a guy that was cleaning out his garage, truck has to earn it's keep! Motor, tranny, 4 doors and some miscellaneous bits.

I was sealing around the windshield washer posts on Sunday afternoon.
This morning I got to work and found my roll of masking tape.
Drove to work, back home, and to work again, about 150kms of dirt road and highway, and didn't lose it!
Says a lot for the new Procomp shocks.
Says not much for my aging brain...

A couple weeks back I drove Cece from Victoria to Golden for the Alpine Club of Canada's General Mountaineering Camp. It was a lovely week spent in the mountains, and I learned a ton!
The following weekend I drove back out and had an unexpected stop in Salmon Arm to have my appendix removed before it burst.

Awesome trip and lucky on the appendix.
I just received Boo a couple weeks ago from the port in Westminster. Our 1998 Delica Camper. I've been going over and have done the following: four new pro comp shocks, lower ball joints, powder coated four steel wheels and installed Yokohama Geolander AT 215/75/R15 tires (1010tire.com), Hyundai glow plugs and fuel injectors, fuel filter, Shell Rotella 15w40 engine oil and filter, amsoil 75w90 in rear diff, transfer and transmission.
Things left to do are: oil line from block to turbo has a sweat so remove front seat for better access to remove put teflon on. clean EGR.Install an idler arm and get an allignment. Hook up new propane bottle with SAE to metric threads so I can use the stove., see if the cabin batteries will run the webasto heater fan and pump for a full night. Bring back into shop for out of province check and register with ama and get the RV membership.
Future plans: manual locking hubs, perhaps Andriod tablet in place of stereo or 2 din audio/NAV system. Recoat drivetrain with anti rust protector.
I'm at doctor office right now for badly sprained ankle. But we're still planning to take our time driving it from red deer Alberta to Portland Oregon.
Arg, wrong forum sorry.

This is kind of in between TO and WITH, but I bought one of those Electric Lunch Boxes, that will run off a cigarette lighter, and tested it out today. I had a hot meal sitting in the jump seat, with the sliding door open, next to a park, in the rain. I think I drove maybe 45 minutes with it plugged it, and it was just hot enough. That's my plan for road trips, to plug it in for up to an hour before I pull over and chow down.
