Diesel engine oil conditioners?????

Post by ChuckBlack »

Good day owners!

I've been wondering about DOC Diesel Oil Conditioner from BG. Has anyone here used it, or used another similar product? I have 1993 Delica Jasper and now considering using full synthetic 15W40. Weather in Alberta is constantly changing and oil viscosity must remain at it's best...

Any thoughts?

I just used a new additive that seems to be working really well. Up until now I've been using semi synthetics like LiquiMoly (originally LubroMoly) but this last oil change I went to Total Quartz 9000, full synthetic and added Power Maxx Nano Engine Super Protection:

This product contains (amongst other things) nano sized Graphene ball bearings that literally prevent the metal components from touching ~ or so the label says. I've logged over a thousand kliks since I changed to this combination and there is quite a difference in performance. For one, the engine is running quieter. She purrs like a Siamese cat!

P.S.: The Total Quartz 9000 grade is 5W40.

My buddy is a mechanic, I think he got it from a wholesaler called Worldpack. I'd ask Mister Google for a supplier near you. I'd think you're more likely to have it more readily available in the States than we in the great snow white north.
