Will a transfer case from an automatic l300 fit on standard?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Just picked up a second van this weekend for cheap. Needs a new transfer case and various other things fixed. There's a guy nearby selling a transfer case, but it's off an automatic. Is this an easy question to answer or do I need the chassis numbers out to find out compatibility?
