What did you do TO your Delica today?
*Post up what you did to/in/with your Delica today from mods to oil change to driving to teh beach to hauling wood. Stealing this thread idea from Minitrucktalk.com as it is an entertaining thread that just keeps going and going and going...
Today (and by today I mean last week) I had a custom 2.5" exhaust system with a high flow muffler added. Real nice deep tone and can finally faintly hear the turbo whistle away as it winds up. EGTs seem slightly lower on the highway and seem to notice improved speed maintanance up the hills. Not as big of a seat-of-the-pants performance difference on the L400 as when I had a similar exhaust installed on my Hilux Surf though. Hopefully gain a few mpg out of it as well. And now that it can exhale easier I can play more with the boost & fueling too.

I washed it. Its a yearly ritual whether it needs it or not.
And I took out the remaining wires to the defunct DRL's ( which stands for Dont Really Like'em)

Gave a set of keys to my wife. Nothing left in the driveway but the oil spots where I park it.
Oh well, she looks better in it than I do.

Re: What did you do to your Pajero today?
I didn't do a gorram thing to my Delica, but last week I finally finished my "safari" curtains. Here's a shot of the rear curtain. Curtains held in place with strong magnets hot-glued to the plastic window trim and funky-saying backpack buttons (couldn't find steel disks to sew in place more magnets would have cost too much).

At 1500$ it is far too costly to share - it was the fabric around the foam mattress in my Eezi-Awn roof top tent. There is some other "safari" fabric that I found online though - I might make some seat covers.

Red? I was changing mine to blue (can't stand the stock sickly orange). Are you using LEDs or incandescents?Mr. Pistachio wrote:Changed all the instrumentation color to red! And it looks quite nice!

I've found LED over the net for a good price but most important, they would be plug&play!
There will be an extensive post about what I've used and for what soon!

almac - as an aside, I really admire your van's name - esp with the image. Clever.
