Hi all,
I'm pretty sure most of you guys have tons of knowledge how to repair and maintain a car. I bought my first car ever (a Delica) a few month ago and even if I'm not at all all thumbs, I just know a few basics about my Delica. I'm really interested to learn more how to do basic repairs and maintains work on it. I already try to find books to start with, but the "How to repair a car" is not enough for a Delica. So I was wondering if there is a course ("Delica for Dummies" :) out there or a mechanic who wants to share his knowledge or someone who is just willing to let me look over his shoulder as he is working on his Delica?
Cheers

I'm not a mechanic, but this is a handy manual:

It all depends where you're located, could be a long trip just to watch over someone's shoulder...if you're from Manitoba or Ontario! There's quite a few of us in the Vancouver area that have fun playing, fixing, modifying our trucks so you'd be welcome to join us at any time.

David says it right, the community of Delica owners are fantastic and would be more then willing to share there knowledge. Or just have fun learn together, going to miss that. Don't forget to check the Delica Wiki for online downloadable manuals, heck I have printed out the necessary pages for the mechanic when needed.
Congrats on your Delica; always thought it would have been an ideal first vehicle for the active youth. Would have loved one as my first.
Cheers,
Kev
