Window problems

Post by bassnailer »

My driver side window goes down halfway and then stops. But the motor still runs. To close the window I press the up button and push the window up while the motor runs. When the window reaches the top the motor continues to run. I have to press the down button to stop the motor from running. Has anyone dealt with this problem? I have cleaned the area between the gasket where the window slides. But that didn't help. Probably the motor?

Thanks, John. I searched but used different key worlds. I appreciate it.

Alright, I will pass this to a friend who's having the same issue. I think he needs a new motor as the current one on the passenger side is acting up. We'll just finish installing the new exhaust and shocks from 4Wheelonline onto his truck this week and we'll start working on his new L400 project.
