New injectors

Post by Firesong »

My fuel mileage has dropped quite a bit. L400 still has great power and I don't notice any smoke. But the fuel mileage makes me wonder. I think I will order a new set from the UK. Same place as the L300 ones I got.

Problem with a new van is that it's new to you. Bit you don't know when the stuff was replaced or if it was ever replaced.

If I remember right the price was around $225 shipping included.

Finally sourced the correct ones, right nozzles for the series two.
$288.00 Can shipped.
Not a rush but I'll get these installed and have a look at the old ones.

Corrected the price. I made a mistake.

Do we get a hint on the source? Also: are you logging mileage for a before/after comparison?

New injectors

Just got them in. Took 1.5 weeks to arrive.
All I know is my existing ones are giving me poorer mileage as they go. I believe they were pop tested before they were sent. They are pristine new looking with a slight diesel wetness.

Sounds like wine testing.

I got them from eBay. Same seller as the ones I got for my old L300. I believe its dieselinjectors. Or something like that. Can't check from where I am.
