Hi All,
Inquiring as to whom I would contact to purchase the following as I am replacing my head gasket that blew before Xmas.
I require the following:
(1) valve cover gasket
(1) exhaust manifold gasket
(1) head gasket
(10) stretch bolts for head
Would Rocky Mountain Imports be the best?
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Head Gasket replacement
hi, joe,
I see your post , most of L400 problem is cylinder head not even a single head gasket.
\make sure its just a gasket as to install a gasket is just same price as you replace the complete cylinder gasket.
as thru the year of spacegear I never replace only gasket all of them has cylinder head issue.
.
you compute the cost of the parts your buying separately almost the same as to change the complete onE PARTS AND LABOR.
its not worth if in case u install this and then this issue come up again.
again this is just advise as you only want to do it one time.
so sad that this issue come up to you with the cylinder head issue.
let me know if you need this cylinder head complete need to order this and need to be prepaid
thank you

Re: Head Gasket replacement
Thanks Mardy,
I will wait for your return and have it towed to you by month end.
I can live with $950 for all if it is what you say it is, meaning the cylinder head and not the head gasket.
There was no overheating when it happened so head should be fine.
