L300 Mirror
anyone have an L300 mirror for sale? I need either just the glass or the chrome encloser with the glass in it, I don't need the arm. I got a black one from mardy but I managed to break the damn glass getting it out to put in my chrome one.

Re: L300 Mirror
I do have Brand new Mirrors on my web site,
They are unfortunatly not Chrome.
Are the Chrome ones made of metal or painted plastic?
If they are painted plastic.... I could have our pro painters at work properly prep them and spray them with plastic chrome.
Cheers!!

Thats a great Idea!almac wrote:i was thinking of drilling my mirror to add winter heaters, but im afraid to break the damn things...
Where do you get the heater elements?
Maybe I could Take off my current mirrors ,install new ones (As I have lots of them)and Experiment.....
Cheers
Re: L300 Mirror
Having worked on a few sets now, I can say - these mirrors cannot be disassembled without breaking the glass. They go together intact, and if you break the glass the chassis can be disassembled again. That's it. Have spare glass on hand.

Re: L300 Mirror
Hmm,I think I will leave my Mirrors alone!
Having thought about it..I dont think I need Heated Mirrors...just more gadgets to f up and cause stress!Keep it simple.Actually What I really need is a Mirror Wiper to remove all the mud from offroading.
