looking for a driver's side mirror

Post by Jamesandnicole »

hey there, I am looking to purchase a driver's side mirror, because the mirror portion of mine is broken. Looking for just the glass or will buy the whole assembly. Preferably in black. Also wondering if the passenger side mirror can be flipped and used on the driver's side? has anybody tried this??

Can't flip mirror, wrong angle. Action Glass in Burnaby may be able to order just the mirror part, they have a big catalogue and were willing to order one in for maybe 30 dollars. I didnt have time to wait for the one guy that does that stuff, so bought an entire mirror for driver side. Check with Mardy or John of RMI or Glen of CC Autos. On my passenger side, I bought a california style truck mirror, with the curved arm, and the adjustable mirrors work for either side, works fine and is adjustable for different drivers. Painted all frames matt black tp match. Cheers, CHristine.

actually, it's been said many times that the 2 mirrors are identical. they're both the same convex glass, and the housings are the same as well, the only difference is the mounting arms, but they come off the mirror itself.

The mirrors are both the same and `flip` from side to side. I have two black left in stock $75 per mirror assembly and $140 for complete assembly (arms and frame fixings)
