amplifier placement

Hi guys
Some of you may remember my icefishing/buddy wrecking my cd player
etc etc story. Doc Savage was awesome and sent me a deck he
had kicking around (super nice of him!!)
I'm wondering. Of all the installs of stereos and amplifiers where
have people been placing the amps to keep them hidden or to
keep them from taking up too much room.
I like being able to flip the back bench up to put stuff in there and
would like to know what people have done to get around that.

I just put mine in behind the drivers seat on the vertical firewall. I like the setup that Miller just posted for his. I would do something like that to hide everything. Otherwise, there is precious little space to mount things in a vehicle with so much space.
