Mt. Prevost

It's likely a little late in the season for an Island Deli-Meat, but I had a bit of an idea as to where we could hold one, somewhere that would make used of the Deli's not insubstantial off-road capabilities...
Anyone driving on the TCH near Chemainus can look up into the hills to the west and see a white spike neat the top of one. This is Mt. Prevost, and I understand there's a summit road. In fact, we did take such a road, but in our other vehicle, a little Ford Escort, which did admirably, but we didn't make it all the way up. I mean, the road's not bad, just very steep in places, and we didn't want to find ourselves in a hot spot. But a Delica could make it all the way up with ease.
So, once the sun's back in the sky and the warm weather's returned, wouldn't this be the perfect place for an Island Deli-Meat?
Stuff this into the back of your minds until next spring...
