Welcome to Delica Canada, Watson
Is your Paj a gasser? The reason I ask is it looks like a catalytic converter in the third picture, although I must say that I didn`t have any sun glasses on when I looked at the picture so I may have mistaken it.
Falco.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! Kiwi!
Nice shiny Paj, lots of love there :) Looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor!
Paul, first picture, back half may give you some indication as to the fuel type.

"D-I-E-S-E-L" And here I thought it was the Bavarian model...Jaz wrote:...Paul, first picture, back half may give you some indication as to the fuel type.
I've heard the "catalytic converter" on a diesel exhaust is referred to as a silencer, a kind of a pre-muffler.
Whereabouts in NZ are you from? I sailed right past the islands on my way to Australia - I would have liked to have sailed into Auckland at least once during my career, but the Pacific is such a large ocean.

Re: Hello from Watson
Hello Guy's,
Thanks for the nice comments about my one of a kind Pajero;yes she is a turbo diesel with numerous mods as mentioned before. One simple one is a (Mann Provent 200 Filter) an oil catch can which has really helped cutting out oil contamination through out the intercooler and inlet manifold, this simple device is a blessing for our old diesel's.
If any one has looked into there inlet manifold or even removed it you can really see how gummed up the internal ports can get, this is especially true with higher kilometer vehicles coming over here.Even my beloved Mitsy with its actual 8,500 km's was starting to gum up before I found this great German product and installed it.
Paul to answer your question, I'm from Christchurch and have been in Canada since '79.
Cheers.

Absolutely stunning condition !
Your tires.. are they directional ? From the photo it looks like your fronts are rotating following the arrow but the rears are rotating the wrong direction ?

Re: Hello from Watson
Actually the Tires are multi directional Nexen HT'S which I'm not that thrilled with, they don't seem to be wearing that well I got talked into buying them by a local supplier.
I have also a set of 16" steel wheels with full winters, can't wait to try them out this winter season!!!
Cheers.
