My first Delica

Hey folks, I'm new to Delica world!
I just bought a 4M40 Diesel Super Exceed 1998, and I'm dealing with a coolant leaking, probably a crack in the engine or something like that. I took it to a shop in North Vancouver where the guys applied a sealant for the gasket (I'm very bad with the names of the mechanical parts). Now I'm testing it in the city and seems fine to drive short distances, but I don't feel comfortable driving too far.
So I'm wondering if anybody had to deal with something like this, and how hard/expensive would be to replace the engine if it's the case.
