I've been a lurker enjoying this site for several years, but I finally purchased an L400, so I thought I should introduce myself.
Purchased the van yesterday after much helpful and generous advice form Graham at Coombs Country Auto. Drove it home, loaded my gear and went to work. Spent today monitoring migrating vultures and raptors over Siwash Ridge, south of Nanoose, after driving the Northwest Bay Mainline out into the middle of nowhere. After work (37 Turkey Vultures and 2 Sandhill Cranes were the highlights) I drove south below Blackjack Ridge and got lucky with an open gate so was able to do the big loop back through Nanaimo. The van did great, although I got chewed out when I got home for getting her dirty. Won't be the last time.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello, and thanks for all the helpful information on this site.
