WTB: White L400 LWB Super Exceed

I know this is almost impossible to find, as I've been looking for months, but I'll throw it out there just in case.

As the title says. Looking for a white LWB L400 Super Exceed(Or silver, but I don't think LWB silver exists). Have cash and I am ready to buy. Must be clean with lower k's (under 150,000).

I contacted Mardy on that one, but it was a SWB and not a Super Exceed. I've found a number of SWB white Super Exceeds and a number of white LWB non Super Exceeds. The trick is to find a long wheel base Super Exceed in white. Another option would be to find a Royal that has been repainted white or silver, but what are the chances of that!

I only know of one white LWB Super that has come over in the last year. I'm in no rush so I'll continue to wait.

Yes they are few and far between. It is the only color my wife really wanted. Paid a premium both in time (looked every day at 3+ auctions for almost 6 months before I found the one we wanted) and $ but it is finally coming this month!

Just make sure you check regarding the rust issues with the white one's I told you about before.

Along the chassis plates (vertical/lengthwise) in the front above the subframe. For some unknown reason, the white one's especially (ask the importers), they rust like crazy there. Once it begins, it's almost impossible to determine the extent of the frame damage until you cut it open.

In my time of L400's, I've seen seven white L400's that were unfit for driving (safely) due to excessive frame rust above the subframe. I've never seen this type of rust on any other L400's. Just the white one's. So take care when buying from Japan. Make sure you have a trustworthy source that can physically see it in person before you bid.

There is lots of overlap between the three.

I registered with another "professional" auction sight that would charge if they found your vehicle. All they do is plug the above auctions into their own formats (more english, quicker to look at specific models) but did not have access to other auctions. I ended up finding vehicles before them and I have the luxury of having a Japanese friend who translated the auctions for me.

I contacted Mardy at the outset with the understanding that he was going to make all the transitions happen to Canada. I just don't have the time or nerves to deal with this. I can't find a single bad post on him and I met him this summer. Though we had all of 3 minutes to talk (reason being he was running around giving great service to current customers with vehicles) I totally trust the guy.

Of course paint is cheap and may be a better choice if they are prone to rusting as was pionted out earlier.

That one is sold. It has been posted forever it seems. I use it to show others what mine looks like.

Regarding rust on subframe, mine was solid. I'm going to chasis saver it once I can get my garage to a reasonable temperature.
