Around the World in a Deli, with a broken torsion bar in NF!

Hi, we are Pablo and Anna, from Spain, and we'd been living and overlanding the world in a Mitsubishi Delica/L300 during the last 14 years. We've been thru Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa north to south and all the Americas, from Tierra del Fuego to Deadhorse in Alaska, Inuvik in North Western Territories and now, Labrador and Newfoundland.

We are now in Saint Anthony, Newfoundland, with a broken left side torsion bar. Any ideas about where could be the closest place to get a spare? We are contacting some friends and dealers in B.C., but of course it would be great if there is anything closer.

We've been with a broken engine in Sudan, and a frozen one during the winter at 4.700 metres in the Bolivian Altiplano, so no one is dying here, but it would be great to know if there is any Deli here too... :)

Thank you!

PS: If you have any idea you can write to us here, and also @ viajeros4x4x4@gmail.com

You might have some luck by calling Right Drive in Toronto. They might be able to assist.
Truthfully though Rising Sun in New Westminster BC probably has sets and single bars in stock.

Pablo and Anna! ¿Cómo estás?

I think you're probably getting it shipped from the west coast. I'd think CC Autos would also be a good option. They also deliver pretty fast.

Falco.

Yeah, the west coast is probably your best bet. You can also try http://bonsairides.com, they're in Ontario as well, but realistically the JDM support here in Ontario is for cars and not Delicas. Make sure to see L'anse aux meadows!

Also, are you planning on doing the Labrador Highway?
