3 in 1 glowshift gauges
Here's the link to the gauge's I've been thinking about. 3 in 1 Glowshift Diesel combo gauges. Did you find any better and/or cheaper ones? Is it a big difference in the accuracy and response between the dial (analog) EGT gauge and the digital one?

Re: 3 in 1 glowshift gauges
I've been running a Depo 4-in-1 for the last 8 months or so. EGT, Volt, Oil pressure and temperature. I've hooked the temp sensor into the transmission (via a T in the trans cooler line), so it does everything the glowshift does, plus voltage.
The gauge responds fast, and at least the voltage is dead accurate (it reads 11.9 when the alternator lights come on).
I'm happy with it, and it looks like it's a few bucks cheaper than the Glowshift.

Re: 3 in 1 glowshift gauges
I hear bad things about the glowshift...hard to read lens, poor quality....have a few friends that took them out...
I usually do not like digital gauges but I really like the digital one I got of RichD...it was nice with the warning light (you can wire up multiple sensors if you want)

Re: 3 in 1 glowshift gauges
I kinda like this one you posted (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DEPO-racing-60m ... 1120325774 <- Link might expire, it's eBay). I wonder how difficult it is to install. I already have a blanking plate for EGT. Do I need to drill it out and tap it or is there a plate with a thread for the sensor? (If so, is it pretty universal and where would I find it?)
Is there a "plug" to install it into the transmission for oil temp?

Re: 3 in 1 glowshift gauges
I don't have installation pics. It was a bit of a pain, but not too bad.
In brief, you need to add:
A Tee on the oil pressure sender (above the vacuum pump, intake side of engine) so you can screw in the sender for the gauge and keep your oil light off). The original sender is BSP. I bought an NPT close nipple and ran a bsp die over half of it, then used an npt T and ran a BSP tap into one side of it. Sounds complicated, worked fine.
A Hose-barb tee in your trans cooler line (google trans temp gauge installation to decide if you want it on the outlet or return).
A hole in your EGR blanking plate, tapped to 1/8NPT. You can buy already-tapped plates, but if you have access to a drill press, it's not too hard to do.

Re: 3 in 1 glowshift gauges
Pretty much all these gauges are Chinese made..
I've run both Glowshift and Auber in two separate Pajero's. The glowshift's are difficult to read with the bulbing face, and the boost gauge does not read properly thanks to altitude. I contacted the dealer about this issue and basically got a "pound sand" in return. They have worked fine for two years now, dealing with very cold winters I've never noticed any real issues, start-up time is quick, accurate measurements. Pretty easy install since you can daisy chain with the factory harness. But I hate how cheap the wiring is! I'm more nervous that a wire will snap just by looking at it!
With Auber, No issues what-so-ever! Wiring was decent, plus you can run whatever you choose on certain applications. Very accurate, easy to read, and you can be creative with mounting positions! But you have to get past the 80's retro look of the gauge itself haha. Also has a better warning system than the Glowshift unit's, which can go unseen.
If I had to choose, Auber everyday, until the looks wore off on me lol.
Pics of both installs.
