Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Lots of Delica adventures today, starting with a bit of a postscript. I got the quadband radio installed, and she works a treat! I still haven't found the triple magmount for the proper quadband antenna as of yet. We were up at 0-dark-hundred this morning to make our prearranged trip to Coombs, wher...

Re: What did you do TO your Delica today?
Wow! Those are some heavy duty looking treads. I'd love to hear how they do in the Ontario snow belt. A little fun with my own L400 Dalek this afternoon. First, she got a much needed wash, before which I confirmed that her clearance is a good three inches below the 7'2" needed to get into the w...

Bull Bars
The L300 and the 1st series L400 have the nice prominent bull bars up at the front end, nicely useful for brush, deer, small children, skateboarders etc. But my 2nd series L400 only has what looks like an outline of one embedded right in the bumper. Is this, in fact, an embedded bull bar, and if so,...

Ultra STOL Ultralight Aircraft
I can't remember who I was chatting with here, but he was in the lower mainland and was suggesting to me that my lifelong dream of learning to fly was achievable through a recreational licence, i.e. ultralights. I think I just found what sort of ultralight I'd like... http://www.aopa.org/News-and-Vi...

Re: Labrador Loop
Two friends of mine did the James Bay in their spanking new Honda Fit. They got the thing home from the dealer and, within a week, had decided to make the trip 'just because'. I don't think they did the Trans-Taiga though.
Maybe for an encore, you could drive the road up to Red Lake!
