Re: Delica Song!!!

LOL -- AWESOME Song!

I have a Russian friend who owns a Delica I'll get to translate this.

It really heats up at abt 5:40. Great Siberian scenery. Much different than taking the Trans Mongolian Express by train.

Thanks for posting this!

$4999 -1992 Delica Super Exceed L300 with lift - 148,600km

White, 1992 Delica Super Exceed for sale, $5000.000 - it's a deal because it needs work. The mechanic estimates about $3000 in engine repair. It's currently at a shop specializing in Delicas at CVI Automotive in Richmond. You can talk directly to him and get more info (Butch 604-247-0500). The batte...

7000+ km across Canada with 5x6 UHaul trailer

I've been meaning to update our family trip from Vancouver, BC to Kitchener, ON since we moved here about a month ago. The going was tough at times, especially on steeps, but our 1992 Delica Super Exceed plowed on relentlessly for a total of 7045km. No major technical glitches besides the ignition f...

Re: A snobby world of nerds

This posting reminds me of the "Stoning" scene in "Monty Python's Life of Brian" when John Cleese is trying desperately to go over the rules and the group of elders (all women) keep passionately launching stones prematurely. His response, "There's always one, isn't there.&qu...

Re: EDIT: Ladders and Racks

Nice job on the roof racks and ladders! I think we'll be good on the ladder, but very interested in a rack. Questions: is it removable? and what is the cost for high roof Delica Super Exceed with crystalite roof? Going on a X-Canada journey next month (leaving Aug. 15), so limited time as well. Many...

Heading on a road trip across Canada in Aug. Looking for a hitch for a trailer, front left mudflap and rear view mirror replacement.

Thanks!

Front chrome guard replacement

I was happily parked on Ash in Vancouver in a meter parking spot, when I returned to "Zoiks", my 1992 Super Exceed, to find an apology note on the windshield and a completely bent front chrome guard! :o After hearing the woman's explanation, I still don't know how she did it (see attached ...

Re: 1 battery instead of two?

I have 2 batteries in my Super Exceed and was wondering why that was. Thanks for clearing this up on the rationale. Luke, in Vancouver, Davidson Batteries on Broadway (between Main and Fraser) is a good place for cheap reliable batteries. As for gelling, below 4ºC, using a 20% blend for tallow-based...

DELI is delicious!

Hey Delicians, I've been meaning to post for a while here and follow this site religiously. Awesome community to be a part of and I'm lovin' the 1992 Super Exceed from Terra2Imports) (purchased Sept. 08! I recently returned from a roadtrip (2400km) through BC -- Vancouver to Smithers and back with m...

Carbon Tax-Free Biodiesel Coming to a Corner Near You!

Attention Delica Enthusiasts! Carbon Tax-Free Biodiesel Coming to a Corner Near You! Fuel crisis and climate change make biodiesel an increasingly attractive and commercially viable alternative fuel. Re: Is there a market for this...Delica specific WVO kits????

Not only am I interested in installing a set up for WVO in my future Delica (currently looking for a Chamonix), but I would be interested at retailing it at the Vancouver Bidiesel Coop at 360 Industrial in Vancouver (Recycling Alternative). We are officially launching tomorrow with our new B100 biod...
