Re: Speed test

130, 140 ~ MPH. Jensen Interceptor. It was in another country, in a time long, long ago. I've loved those cars ever since I watched MAD MAX! http://content.streetkingsarabia.com/wp-content/uploads/4-The-Interceptor1.jpg Funny thing too, there's a company who offer turn-key replicas of the Mad Max c...

Re: Japanese motorcycle import

I just don't get how you would have guessed exactly the bike I am looking for right off the bat! Do you know someone I was asking?

Japanese motorcycle import

I am trying to find and import a motorcycle which was only sold in Asia in the early 1990's. If anyone can help with who to talk to in order to make this happen I'd really appreciate it!

Re: lowered suspension

Hey jfarsang, once again, awesome input! Your suggestion would work out great, and probably would be far more economical than what I was thinking however it wouldn't be nearly as fun and versatile as an adjustable air ride suspension. Does anyone out there in Delicaland think this is feasible or wou...

l300's for 12+k??

Hi all, Just an observation I wanted to share here, I've been looking at the ads for l400s and noticed that some dealers (not to name names) think they can charge upwards of $12 k for a '94 l300 with over 80,000 clicks. Am I the only one who thinks that seems outrageous? It's as if these guys are ar...

Re: lowered suspension

I am still not convinced that I'll be able to get in and out of my building. My parkade's clearance bar is set at 6'7", but since i want to be able to leave a roof rack on the van I'll need lower clearance. I am looking at an air ride adjustable suspension kit, have yet to find one specifically...

Re: Crash Test safety Info

I can see how the bull bar would help in a crash. I've seen L400s ship with airbags, although if I were to buy a model with one fitted, I'd have to get a mechanic to verify it is operational. As for safety while driving, I've always done controlled skids and threshold braking in wet, snowy or icy pa...

Re: Crash Test safety Info

I don't know about official data but I have seen these Mitsubishi van crash tests on youtube (newer models but similar body styles):

Re: ICE in your Deli

It looks like it is designed for home use, so I am not sure you'll be able to use the remote if the box is mounted under a seat or somewhere else that isn't in direct view of the remote control. Also, the storage is not SSD, this means the disk drive storage for the media is a standard hard disk dri...

lowered suspension

Hi everyone! So I am contemplating the things I will be doing to my Delica, once I get it of course! Considering the fact that I spend a lot of time in the city, and use an underground parkade at home (with limited ground clearance access), I am thinking that the standard height of the L400 may be t...

I am not sure of this has been posted before but I thought everyone would enjoy a "river" of Delicas to drool over!

Re: Van stuck on Quadra island

Try calling a trailer transport co. to see if they have slots to fill, or maybe a private tow truck owner, or similarly a privately owned transport truck of some kind (craigslist kijiji)

GL!
