Re: Reliability questions from a newbie/wannabe

Mine is a low roof and I just barely fit in 6'6", wouldnt attempt to go any lower than that and I do it at a slow crawl. The superstore parking here is 6'8" and that is comfortable. I have had it for coming on 3 years now and other than 15w-40 oil is expensive (I get 10-30 for free for my ...

Re: for sale 1991 delica exceed family member.

You do realize your kids/passengers are allowed to be in the back with just lap belts. You just have to make sure that they DO NOT have booster seats. Either way, 3pt with booster is safer.

Re: fuel filter change - now leaking and need help

If I were you, I would take that plastic piece off, unscrew that nipple again and make sure that there is nothing stuck in there, failing that, buy a new plastic peice for the bottom or screw a small bolt into the opening of that nipple.

Re: Getting more serious.....veggie is gone (well, going)

Yes only lap belts. I have tried to find shoulder belts from a Delica that I could install but never had any luck finding ones that matched the dark grey. I know that is a big hang up for alot of people and I will probably install some on the middle 2 seats at least if I could find some and then try...

Get a maintenance free battery and make sure you dont crank the hold down clamp on so tight that it distorts the battery.

Re: Engine Auxillary Gauge Installation

1: Oil temp (transmission or engine?) Either way, your not towing or running a race car, unless you just want to have another guage to look at, dont waste your money. 2: Oil pressure: Be honest, what are the chances you would even notice it running low? What is too low? I would just stick with the s...

Re: undoing the secret to the crankshaft bolt

Wedge your breaker bar on the frame, key the starter. To reinstall, pull the Torque converter bolt access plate, wedge a flat head screwdriver in the ring gear, get buddy to torque the bolt.

Re: NOT REALLY SURE I WANT TO DO THIS BUT....

I was wondering how things were going for you as well.
I'm not sure I can sell it though. I've put so much into it and the thing is in such good shape, just not so sure about how much longer my current employer is going to last so I want to be prepared in case the next year or 2 dont go so well.
