Free to a good home - L400 parts
I have just sold my L400 LWB and there are a few bits still hanging around. All are in very good condition, however a good scrubbing is needed. These pieces were removed from the van immediately after importing to Canada back in 2011 when I prepared the van for the PANAM journey. They have never bee...

check the UK site...i seem to remember someone with the same problem. I think there is a electric switch that closes the heater lines when the AC is engaged. Sometimes even with the AC engaged the heater remains fully engaged and overpowers the AC....If I remember correctly.

That will resolve any other explosion possibilities. You can get anything fixed up here in South America. Too bad it is not the same...

Rear Window Explosion
Today I had a strange event - while driving along I had the rear window of my L400 explode into two - not one - billion pieces. Thankfully the rear window tinting kept all the bits together and I am able to drive around still without a great gaping hole in the back. I figure it had something to do w...

Re: Super-Select problems
hold on, I don't understand. what linkages and how? I should have been clear that I have a L400, auto. There are no linkages I can see between the transmission lever (PRND21) and the floor mounted transfer case shift lever. The Transfer case shifter is direct into the transfer case housing. what am ...

Re: Super-Select problems
Hola jfarsang 4H-yes 4HLc-don't think so, all wheels still turning..."SOMETIMES it is possible to shift from 2H to 4HLc directly without shifting the transmission into neutral" suggests no cd lock 4LLc-can't get the shifter into position Sorry, one addendum to the original post: the sensor...
