Just to add to this... Driving a 98 Series 2 Delica 4M40 around in -40C in Winterpeg and way more heat then the Series 1. Actually have to turn it down in the highway as too hot for winter gear. I suspect better control venting, cabin insulation and heater core. Much better then our 94 4M40. I did n...

I tow a 21ft trailer, Rvision 21e, ~4000 lbs fully loaded with a 4m40 delica (94), no issue at all. Keep OD off and speed to 80km/hr or less.
