Re: Thoughts on solving this dilema
My only comment is DO NOT modify the plastic tank as it is illegal to modify or repair plastic tanks (will not pass a VI inspection)... Learned this the hard way using a "Pick a Part" plastic tank that "Pick-A-Part" drain by putting a hole in and than plugging (they do this on a...

Re: Thoughts on solving this dilema
I'm in the same boat and opted out with regards to a heated pickup and a return line because I don't want to have hot oil going back in the tank when it's cold outside. I use a walbro hd fuel pump at the tank to push to cold wvo up front that goes into a 30-plate HE that goes into a vegmax2 heated ...

Thoughts on solving this dilema
It has been a long to time since I've been on here, some of you may know me some newer members may not but all input is welcome. I have moved on from my other vehicles and now have a Mercedes 300GD (G Wagen, G-Class) I live in Whistler BC Canada (cold and snowy) and a single tank system will not wor...

Re: L400 1" rear spring lift - poor man's conversion FREE !
Hey Jesse,
I wanted to use those on the bottom of my springs but I read if you do, you should use the lock ring that is mentioned on the back of the package. I couldn't find any info on the lock ring, do you know anything about it?

Re: Question on Auction Sheets
The Toyota Landcruiser is the top vehicle in the world as a stock 'off road' vehicle. :M That is very debatable, I would say best value to cost in an off road vehicle. Sorry, but the G Wagen and the Rubicon in stock form are better off roaders than the TLCs. I am not debating reliabilty or quality ...

Re: The "shaken" and "haircuts"
Well, there you have it. Mark "braveauto" took more time and detail to say what I was saying the whole time. Buying from Japan blind and at least not considering shaken coupled with service records and verified physical condition to reduce your risk is foolish. I would pay the extra for a ...

Re: The "shaken" and "haircuts"
Nothing personal but, I couldn't disagree more... and now that you have shed light on the fact that you are an importer (legal or not), it makes more sense to me why you endorse buying non shaken vehicles becasue the rarity of the shaken vehicles would leave you with very little to choose from at au...

Re: The "shaken" and "haircuts"
While odometer tampering does happen from time to time, it is not the general rule of thumb. It happens way more to North American vehicles sold here than to vehicles brought from overseas. If you think buying a vehicle with a shaken will protect you from this, it's about as good a form of defense ...
