Re: What sort of trailer do you pull with your L400?
I've asked similar questions many times but always received vague answers with many 'shoulds' and 'coulds' in them. Finally bought a L400 V6 gasser LWB and hooked up our 4000lbs 19 foot travel trailer. Other than a 80kph top speed up steep hills the deli towed brilliantly last week over a 300km stre...

Re: Anyone with experience ordering from delica.us
Thanks poochike. I've tried contacting them but have been unsuccessful. Looks like I'll be shopping elsewhere.

Anyone with experience ordering from delica.us
Like the look of their floor mats and seat covers. Wondering if anyone here has dealt with them before?

Water Pump removal, 6G72 Service Manual
Looked in the technical section but mostly diesel related. Any good source for a complete V6 service manual?
Cheers.

Lifted and loving it from Victoria!
Hello all. I've been lurking for years threatening to purchase a LWB L400 for a while. Finally found a 1997 V6 gasser that met all my criteria here in Victoria. Bought off a great Victoria board member, Rik T. A couple of inches of lift, nice AT tires, 78,000K, a solid color I haven't seen a lot of ...

Re: Will an L400 tow a 4500lbs trailer?
Thanks nxski. I'm favoring the V6 for this reason. That and the fact that I've found a pretty reasonably priced supercharger for the 6G72 motor. It's meant for a mid 90's 3000GT. I'm hoping with enough elbow grease (and custom fitting/cutting/bending) that we can make it fit in the Deli. Who knows i...

Re: Will an L400 tow a 4500lbs trailer?
Thanks Jesse, I have a really good brake controller and use equalization bars as well. I guess my main concern is not that the Deli will have the power, as I currently drive a pretty gutless Land Rover Disco 2 with a real short wheelbase, but will the unibody handle the tongue weight of the trailer ...

Thanks guys.
Jesse, is the running gear, sub frame and unibody structure underneath the Deli identical to the Montero?

Will an L400 tow a 4500lbs trailer?
I've done quite a bit of searching and always come up with answers related to a guy who knew a guy once who may of at one point possibly towed a travel trailer with a L400 Spacegear. Or a number of searches related to the tow weight of the vehicle and the maximum tow weight of a trailer based on tha...

Re: Trade 03 Land Rover Disco II SE7 for L400 Super Exceed?
Yep, not good! I'm starting a job that is going to require a fair bit of driving. That's why I want a Delica. I love the LR, but it does like to 'drink' a fair bit. Takes $85 to fill and gives back somewhere around a 450km range. Nice truck though (Kids love the jump seats!). I'm hoping someone here...

Trade 03 Land Rover Disco II SE7 for L400 Super Exceed?
I'm looking to trade my silver 7 seat LR Disco II (117,000kms) for a L400 Spacegear Super Exceed. I would imagine no one would want the extra costs associated with gas for my LR, but hey, you never know!
Thanks.
Thanks.

I've met Mardy as well. Great guy!
Thanks for the sites. Should keep me busy for a few minutes everyday for a number of months.

Re: WTB: White L400 LWB Super Exceed
Thanks Jesse, pictures would be great. I know you showed me the spots when we last met, but I don't get the chance to look underneath L400's on a regular basis and I would probably miss the spot.
