Turns out much worse than exhaust , broken flywheel on a refurb tranny I put in just last year , was wishful thinking the banging was exhaust related

my muffler was loose as the hanger appeared to have corroded away, i tied it up with some wire but wasnt very solid and now seems like something closer to engine has come loose/broken off as my van is now quite a bit louder than previous, im hoping its the exhaust and not something more serious. Does any one know where one wants to go to get my exhaust system looked at? Does cvi handle this or should I search out a exhaust specialty shop?

you guys are getting 80 kms?! if im lucky my speedo says 70-73 but gps is telling me 60-62 tops, I ve just had a tonne of work done , head tranny, you name it but still feels wrong. I'm going in for more tranny work shortly hopefully that sorts it out.

hey ya'll i'm curious as to what the symptoms of a failing turbo are.

also anybody have any issues with themostats? Easy to install? price? i think i need a new one , very little heat and its starting to bug the wife. HA!

Well its definitely been confirmed, the 91 l30 has a 75 litre tank with the fuel light coming on at the 60 litre mark. My gauge was/is finicky and appears empty at the 330 km mark, but since reading this thread i pushed beyond what the gauge was telling me and easily achieve 450 km per tank and have...

Whats the easiest yet sexiest way to get some brighter reverse lights? Ive seen a few that look built in to the rear bumper that look great whats the damage involved int that process?
