Re: delica part out
I could use the tranny, I kinda cracked mine in half. I welded up the case, but i don't 100% trust it. I might be interested in some other bits as well, PM me with a price if you still have it please. Thanks, Matt.

Re: 1991delica l300 PARTS, engine alternator turbo,,,,
I see someone already asked you about the alternator, so I hate to butt in. My alternator just gave out and I need a replacement, so if Almac hasn't bought it yet, and isn't in dire need, I ask that he defer to me. I may be interested in a few other items as well, so even if the alternator is gone I...

Multiple dash lights coming on most likely indicates a dead alternator.

Kooteny community
Hey, I just moved up to the Kimberley/Cranbrook area for the summer and would love to explore some of the magnificent territory around here. I've noticed quite a few Delicas, and a few Pajeros in the area, I was just wondering if anyone in the community has some great places they want to show me, or...

Re: WVO on mainland?
@ myme22 A nice easy trick for getting ornery glowplugs to loosen up is to get the engine nice and hot. Be careful not to burn yourself once under the hood, but a little heat will usually do the trick. So procedure would be: soak glowplugs with a good penetrating oil, take the vehicle for a drive un...

Re: Delica spring fever - custom roof racks
I'll be in Kimberly in about a months time, I'm bringing my welder and basic fab tools, so if you are still needing a rack, I could fab up one for you.

Good thing the brakes didn't fail in the states, that extremely reasonable bill in Puerto Vallarta would have been ridiculous north of the border. Glad you had a good trip :)

Re: Rear Axle Leaking - 2.8l SWB
That is most definitely not cast iron, a normal MIG will do the job just fine. Most automotive shops have no clue about welding and spout BS like that. JB weld will work, but is a temporary band aid. If you are in the Langley area I would recommend VND Motorsport, it's just behind Sport Trucks Unlim...

Re: Rear Axle Leaking - 2.8l SWB
Wow, after reading that article I realize how bad my experience could have been. My boss is lucky I didn't realize how dangerous it was. So be prudent, and double check that the brake clean you use doesn't have chlorine in it if you plan on welding after.

Re: Rear Axle Leaking - 2.8l SWB
If you get a non-chlorinated brake clean it is fine to weld after, just make sure you have the correct type. I have welded after using the wrong kind and you know immediately, burning eyes, nose and lungs, and that was in a well ventilated area. The boss found some cheaper brake clean and replaced i...

Re: Depo Racing Gauges
I've been running an oil pressure gauge, as well as a boost gauge from Depo for about two years now, no issues at all. I got the programmable gauges, so they can be set to whatever brightness you want and have an alarm sound when the readings get to the set danger zone. I would never buy an automete...
