Re: Puzzling Noise Back Driver's Side

I had a similar mystery and it was the rear sway bar links. They are about four inches long and have what looks like a little tie rod at each end, and are very easily replaced.

Re: Stolen L300

Finally got my van back from the body shop - it's been there six weeks, but I have to admit the insurance co. did me proud. As well as the repairs they also cleaned the interior, oil and filter change, four wheel alignment, transmission oil change and general mechanical check up. I was thinking abou...

Re: Stolen L300

Went to visit my baby at the impound lot. Not too much visible damage; Front door lock was butchered, dent in the rear door, Gas tank was empty - full when I parked it, Steering wheel seems to be stuck but ignition key still fits and of course the rear drivers side window is gone. Didn't spend too m...

Re: Stolen L300

Sorry for the delay in updating but I had nothing to report until today - police called just this morning to say they found it in N.E. Calgary - must have been sitting on the street for the last three weeks with a missing side window. Have no idea of the condition but it was towed to the impound lot...

Re: Stolen L300

Hi Trecar: The van was parked at my home in Inglewood, near the community center - usually a very quiet area. Thanks, I appreciate your help.

Stolen L300

Had my pride and joy stolen from outside my house this morning. 8-) If anyone spots it please call the police. It's a 1993 low roof, two tone gray, lic. # SUS385. I've spent a lot of money making this into my perfect vehicle, but at this point I'm not even sure I want it back! It will have one of th...

Re: Friendly shop in or near Calgary

Kirkham Automotive @ 9298 Horton Road S.W., (Calgary), are familiar with Delicas and have done a wheel alignment on my vehicle and have the specs. Phone # 403 253 2033. I've been using the Fram PH6355 oil filter with no problems - bought from Part source, may not have it in stock, but can get it in ...

Re: Pyrometer Probe Installation Question

Just talked to tech help at Shiftglow Gauges and they say increasing the length of the probe wiring will not affect the gauge accuracy. Can't speak for other manufacturers.

Was excited about this, but unfortunately a prior commitment will keep me away - hopefully next time?
