Hi Kevin http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=50.033755,-125.3885&z=12&t=h&hl=en - its the "little" lake up and left of "Elk Falls Provincial Park" this should take you over the area in question. Sorry no pictures this time, I forgot my camera at home! It is so wonderful up...

Re: Page 40- BC Backroad Mapbook- Van. Isle.

Hi Christine, Oddly enough my wife and I ran into Kathy and Brian today. We were out doing some touring and ran into them at a rec site. Just down the road from where you were last year on Campbell Lake. They are nice people, we sat with them for a couple of hours and had a fews stories to share. We...

Yeah I have looked it over pretty hard also. Tempting. Very tempting. But great ideas for the homebuilder.

What if a person was to install wipers like the Lumina Vans/Corvette, they wipe from the centre to the outside?

Hi Fexl,

Yes that was the cat I was referring to. Way to go on the program. That is a great way to view documents.

Upload a PDF File

Can anybody tell me how to upload a PDF file to Delica.ca? I have an accessories catalogue for the Starwagon people might enjoy.

Cheers!

Re: Car Cover to Fit Delica?

I have a Starwagon Catalogue from a couple of years ago, in there you will find the actual car cover for the Delica Starwagon. Might be a place to start looking. PM me for a copy. I haven't yet figured out how to downsize the file to post it. Any suggestions?

Cheers!

Page 40- BC Backroad Mapbook- Van. Isle.

Hello all. Has anybody been up around the area described on the subject? My wife and I are heading north of Campbell River to hit some lakes. If anybody has a favourite spot, we would love to hear about it. For those without the map book, it is the north side of Campbell Lake, and west of the Snowde...

Re: Front bumper w/ winch cradle

Ideas and designing input would be appreciated and more heads are better than one in this case ! :-D I personally like the first photo you posted. I have had that design in my head for awhile now. With one exception. I would build the box of the actual bumper slightly wider to accommodate storage of...

Re: phantom draw, with clues

I have heard of some people pulling their a/c units and shifting their alt. up to that position for better protection from water etc. Maybe you could install a second alt. in that position. I rebuilt my alt. last year for the same reasons. I hope it works for you guys. Keep on driving!
Cheers!

Re: Trim Level Questions

The first thing I learned with the ownership of my Deli....get used to people passing you. Relax, enjoy the fact that your kick ass van gets so many looks on the highway, as people stare blindly at your passenger and wonder how the hell the are driving with their feet on the dash. 90km is my top cru...

Re: Trim Level Questions

I have the Exceed Starwagon, High roof, with Crystalite package. The shades have never worked on ours, but we don't mind. A clothes pin on either end of the shade wedged behind the ridge on the shade/in the track and you are good as gold. Just leave the pins clipped to the shade when not closed for ...

Re: Diesel Dwn South

Wow, right on thanks for the tips guys. We have made a plan of travelling everywhere,so time is on our sides. We are hoping to spend a few weeks touring and seeing everything in between and play far too much disc golf ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFQ8S1LcioQ for instructions) The double mattress...

Re: Diesel Dwn South

Hey Great Information Guys,

My wife and I are thinking of heading down to San Fransisco in the fall. Has anybody driven the coast from BC? Any tips or suggestions for the trip I can bring along? I would appreciate any info as this will be our first time driving south, in our Delica of course...:O)

Re: Deli-cious Camping

HI Konadog I have some photos posted in the album section, under my name of course. I mention the same silence breaking epiphany damn near monthly while cruising in our Delica. Across the country and back, the van has been pure magic. Recently I fell in love with it again when Colleen and I made our...
