Thank you everyone for your advice and condolences!
I found a buyer for it that was happy to help with all the arrangements. Perhaps it will get reincarnated or a piece of it will find it's way into one of your rigs.
Cheers,
Agata

Re: My L300 died
Before it blew, I was going to list it for $6500.
160,000 km, regularly maintained and fixed on an ongoing basis.
The interior is in great shape. I just had a full detail with shampoo.
The body is in great shape too.
it's a real shame.

Re: My L300 died
Unfortunately, I don't live in Pemberton, I'm in Vancouver so I have no way of finding anything out without asking a mechanic to do it.

Re: My L300 died
Yes, unfortunately, I'm not the person to figure that out. Does anybody know of a mechanic in Pemberton who works on these?
When I turn the key, it doesn't start, and the exhaust comes out of the radiator.

My L300 died
Hi all, I seriously overheated my van on the weekend driving up to the Duffey. There was a giant crack in the top hose from the radiator to the engine and replacing it did not make it go. It's in Pemberton right now and the mechanic thinks the head is cracked, blown or warped and he doesn't want to ...

Re: New member in Vancouver
Cool. That sounds like something I could tackle. Sure beats trying to look all nonchalant to avoid a burnt out headlight ticket all the time.

Re: New member in Vancouver
Thank you for the advice. How hard of a job would that be? I'm not very experienced working on cars but I did manage to figure out how to change the headlight. I'm certainly willing to try and I have access to a decent array of tools. But I do admit, I don't understand half of what you wrote. A frie...

New member in Vancouver
Hi, I've had my lovely van for two years now with all sorts of joys and dilemmas. Sorry, no pictures for now, don't have any on my work computer. One of my favourite things about my van is being able to toss three mountain bikes in the back without having to take any of their wheels off (cause I've ...
