Looking for 4D56 engine for a 91 delica
Hey everyone, I'm looking for an engine for my 91 Delica. I live in Alberta, I have a friend that will be driving a flat bed from Jasper AB to Vancouver in April, and he will be able to pick it up to save me the shipping costs. I need all the details possible, preferably a bare bones motor, and i'm ...

Re: L300 engine swap
I'm a little bit ahead of you guys, first off this is the second crank pulley to fail on my delica. When the delica broke down in Thunderbay we welded the crank pulley to the crank shaft, so at this point the crank will deffinately have to be replaced, i'm thinking it might be cheaper to do an engin...

L300 engine swap
Hey all, My delica bit the dust in october. Crank pulley failed in Thunder Bay on my way back out west. I love it and i'm determined to get it back on the road, first problem is that its incredibly difficult to find someone to work on it in the Jasper, AB area. second the wobble in the crank pulley ...

Re: New squeak from engine + rough starting; what to check?
I would check your crank pulley, start the engine, open the engine compartment, and watch the large pulley underneath all the others, you'll likely need a flashlight. If there is any wobble in the pulley then have it replaced. I was getting the same problem, running rough when at idle and in gear an...

Re: Broken Crank shaft in northern ontario!HELP!
Update! Had a mechanic check out the delica today, crank pulley key way was totally warn. They would have been able to machine a new one but it was so badly damaged they couldnt get accurate measurements. Good news is that CVI is sending me a new crank pulley and it will hopefully be here tomorrow w...

Re: Broken Crank shaft in northern ontario!HELP!
Update! at the moment i'm waiting for a tow truck to to the deli to thunder bay, where a mechanic will check the crank pulley and pulley dampener to determine exactly what needs to be done, hopefully its just a loose bolt? If not then ill be calling one of you guys to have a new crank pulley or damp...

Re: Broken Crank shaft in northern ontario!HELP!
Hey guys, Thanks for all the support. When we took the timing cover off the crank shaft pulley was wobbling around like crazy, so i'm definitely leaning toward a crank shaft problem, either the pulley key thingy, or perhaps the shaft is sheered but still has enough friction to turn. Either way, I re...

Broken Crank shaft in northern ontario!HELP!
Hey folks, I'm just north of thunderbay (on my way back to Jasper AB) my 91 Delica Exceed started running extremely rough, found a mechanic and it looks like the crank shaft is broken, the timing seems to be off now, it still runs although its rough. I know what will happen if I keep driving it. So ...

Hey Eric,
nice to have met you, definitely cool having both white delicas fueling beside each other.
i'm jealous of your lift, looking at giving my delica a lift now aswell. Is it just extended rear shackles and cranked torsion bars on yours?

Sauna caught fire last summer, some europeans left some candles unattended. 15 minutes later it was a raging inferno. We normally have 5 fire extinguis...
