Huge respect for the commitment here. The pictures of the wiring harnesses have made me feel quite poorly!
That would give me nightmares for days.
Great skills at work.

Re: Autobox shifting woes!

Thanks Big Bird.
The manual looks pretty daunting!
Has anyone pulled the valve body off the bottom of the tranny without taking the tranny out?
I don't want springs and balls all over the driveway! But I might be prepared to give it a go if it keeps the beast alive.

Hi, Greetings from the other side of the pond. Posting here, as there are not many L300s left on the road in the UK! We have had our L300 delica for 10 years now and been all over the Alps, Norway and Iceland in it. However it has suddenly decided to mess us around! The gearbox works fine for about ...

Re: Lost power. Max 50km/h

Hi,
With me the actuator rod had come of the linkage to the turbo. This gave me the same symptoms. Five minutes with some wire saw it fixed. Hope it's something easily & cheaply sorted!

Re: L300 Stretch updates

Officially THE coolest Delica L300 I have ever seen anywhere 8-)
Are you thinking of rigging it to 6x6 ? I can imagine it would need some intuitive engineering, but from what I've seen you are more than up for some of that!

Re: Front suspension squeeky

Hi, I've had this a couple of times. On one occasion it was the Sway bar bushes and teflon grease solved it. Another time it was my upper balljoints. Again I had to peel off the boot & re-grease, as mine do not have a grease nipple. Hope you get it sorted, I know how annoying it can be! Cheers J...

Pictures of our van on its various travels

Hi,
Never got the hang of posting photos!
But here is a link to Delica related shots from our trips in the last few years. Includes Scotland, Iceland, Norway, France & Italy.(Unfortunately no deli in BC, Canada for us)
Hope the link works :-)

Courtenay last Thursday (August 6th) and a few others beside

Seen loads of your trucks in the last three weeks :-) So if you got waved at by a maroon GMC Acadia covered in dust, that was us! Most notable & identifiable was a nice truck in Courtenay with a cool rear mounted spare that drove past us while we were having a chill out & coffee in Zocalo's....

Re: Alloy welding?

Hi Shane,
Thanks for the advice. I will pass it on. I did wonder about the heat treating. I will get him to park it up. At least it will stop his injuries for a while!

Cheers
