Re: Parts (sunroof)

The closest place is likely J Cruisers ( Mustang Connections) in Armstrong. They have several Delicas that are parts vehicles.

Thanks for the great pictures. I'll see what happens with no alcohol. It think EGT will be a quick limit.

Re: blower motor

I took 2 pictures, 1 of the main fuse block where the 20A fuse is ( yellow ) on bottom right and another of the fan area. The 20A fuse is the fan for sure as when I pulled it the fan stopped. The other picture got me more confused after I looked @ the drawing as the drawing shows 3 resistors, which ...

Re: blower motor

The Delica Wiki drawings show that the motor is fed from the 20 A fuse in position 16 identified as the heater. The remainder of the drawing only shows dropping resistors for the different speeds. The drawings are hard to read as it is easy to go X-eyed following the wires even though I have got the...

Shaun:

Do you have any pictures of the bracket you made for the "Pop Valve". This sounds like a cheap way to get extra boost without blocking the valve totally. 23 # is a lot of boost.

Re: Single -> Dual Piston brake upgrade + auto -> Manual hubs

Man is this a great post.!!!!!!! I have been concerned about the stopping power as I've recently been on some 10-14 % grades and if I don't go downhill in 1st. it doesn't take long before the brakes start to smell. This looks like a great solution. A little patience with the search can really find s...

Re: Evans waterless coolant. Anyone use this?

I talked to the guys @ Peterbuilt about this stuff ( when buying oil filters) and they didn't even know what I was talking about let alone know of any truckers using it.

Delica WIKI lists Franco's in Kamloops. I haven't used them for a Delica but they have a very good rep. for import repairs.

Talk to Barry @ Mustang Connection in Armstrong - 250-546-9805. He has a mechanic in the area he uses for all the vehicles he imports.

Re: Rising temp on the Coquihalla

Watching EGT's is the key. If you want a real test for your system try the Little Fort Hill when it's 35 C. It's longer and steeper. I was in 2nd. gear @ 3000 rpm's to keep control of the temperature.

Re: Gas (or rather, diesel) mileage??

I'd like to test the tank capacity as well. Most I've put in is 62l. I've never had the light come on yet. Does it come on like the oil light when you first turn on the Key? If I have 75l it would be nice to confidently use @ least 65l or know you could use more if between stations. I hate carrying ...
