Re: Delica Stereo

I've done some more testing today and the unit is on-off once the van warms up whether it has been on or not. I'm now convinced it's a problem with the stereo. I've taken it apart to some degree but all I can really look for is circuit board issues. Does anyone have one of these for sale c/w connect...

Delica Stereo

I decided to keep the stereo cassette and bought the FM expander. Now that I'm actually using the unit it seems to work for about 15 minutes and then the speakers start to go on and off @ every bump. I've still got the dash apart so I've been wiggling wires once it warms up and with just the right t...

Re: instrument cluster dimmer

I'm glad I did a search before I asked this dumb question. I've looked for @ least half and hour. I couldn't believe I couldn't find the dimmer. Now I know why?

Thanks for the post.

Re: Hwy cruising speed

With all the various tire sizes do you change the speedo gears or guess what the real speed is?

Re: Engine failure in WA - towing to Vancouver ideas?

The BCAA idea is the best. If you have problems a U-Haul car hauler does work good. I picked up my Delica in Van in early DEC. with one and for the $ 65 it cost including insurance for 24 hours it was cheaper than driving 2 vehicles back! The only problem you may have is getting your Delica on it if...

Re: How to install a block heater

I tried the bent screw driver trick about 1/2 an hour into my problem. The plug is wedged right tight against the outside wall in some sort of cavity. I'll try it again in the morning as I do have a few small ' free ' screw drivers.

Thanks

Re: How to install a block heater

The above info was a good start. The only thing it doesn't tell is how to get the frost plug out after the tap to poke a hole in it pushes it into the block. I've spent a few hours with my finger moving it back a forth and even had hold of it with some pliers @ one time. Now it's wedged below the ho...

I found this on Ebay. Is it really for a Delica. They are available from Quebec.

Re: Cutting a spare key

Anyone looking for spare keys in the Kamloops area Brown's Locksmith on Lansdowne has lots of blanks and can cut from your key # if necessary.

I have my Xmas present for years to come!!!

Hi Delica Nation: I thought it was time I introduced myself after joining in late November. I have been looking for a Delica for about 4 months and as I'm recently retired I can research Delica's all day long if I wish. (The internet has way to much information.) In my searches I was lucky enough to...

Re: 1992 Delica Super Exceed 93kms $9850

A few more questions:
- The pictures you have appear to show wooden box near the front seats. Is this fastened down and could it be removed? Was it for a TV?

- Do you have pictures for the rear and drivers seat area?

Thanks
