Re: nvanadm's Derelictica
We were able to get one more camping trip in before winter. This is what our new set up looks like now. We have so much more room now.

Re: L300 LED bulbs?
I just installed all of my LED light's today. For some reason the 1156 bulbs didn't work in the amber front side lights. Any idea why this might be? Did you ever figure this out? I just tried to install amber 1156's into the front side lights. Didn't do anything so I tried just regular 1156's. Didn...

What type of bulb is this?
It's the tiny bulb in the back of the L300 that is in the "ball and socket" type fixture. All it says on it is "A12V8W". It's the last of my interior lights that need to be changed to LED but I'm not sure what to order. Here are a few pics to show what I'm talking about. Ball and...

Re: Bling!
What is this switch circled in red? I've had my delica for over 5 years, but mine has an aftermarket fog light switch there. Just wondering what was there originally.

Re: Switching from 2WD to 4WD
There are lots of 4wd posts on delica.ca and the proper way to use. But like mentioned above, With Auto Locking Hubs you have to be stopped to engage 4wd for the first time. Once the auto hubs are locked (you should see the "wheel lock" light on your dash) you can then switch on the fly be...

Re: Another 4wd post. 4wd won't engage.
No problem at all. I don't remember mine having any grease in them that's why I initially asked. It was a couple years ago now so I probably should have re-greased them anyway! I think the combination of not greasing them to begin with, not re-greasing them after time, and not using 4wd were all fac...

Re: Another 4wd post. 4wd won't engage.
Might want to pull apart your hubs and see if they are engaging properly, they shouldn't be too hard to engage, maybe they need grease? Yup, that's exactly what they needed. When I installed them a couple years ago I was told I did not need to grease them. I wasn't sure if I need to put any type of...

Re: Hard to start.... :(
x2 on what whitemule said. I'm in London, ON and we just got a ton of snow. Not sure if you guys got much there. Having the block heater makes a huge difference. It starts up like it's the middle of summer (or at least fall :-) ). I also use Mobile 1 5W40 synthetic during winter months. mobile 1.jpg

Another 4wd post. 4wd won't engage.
I know there are a ton of 4wd and 4x4 posts but my situation is a bit unique. Haven't found anything with the search to help much. We got around 70cm of snow here in London, ON over the weekend. Needless to say I needed 4wd (but it wouldn't work). Background: MANUAL locking hubs 1993 L300 w/ LSD Hav...

My wife and I are definitely going to buy the English version of your book. Can't wait to read it!

Re: L300 LED bulbs
Just purchased all the LED's I need to outfit my L300 except for the license plate bulbs (not sure what I need yet). The 1156 turn signal bulbs have the resistors built in so I won't need to do anything special to have them flash properly. I also thought I might as well try the H3 LED bulbs for my f...

Re: Pulsating / vibrating brakes - check your sliding pins
My memory is that you undo and remove the bottom pin, pivot the caliper on the top pin until the caliper and pads clear the disk, then just slide it off the top pin. It probably is an allen head or such in the top pin, but I dont think you need to undo it with the caliper on. Correct. Just did mine...

Re: replacing shocks - how to
The week before you decide to do it keep spraying them with wd-40 or similar product so the bolts come free easily. when I did mine the bolts broke off....then its a hard job. spray the bolts at least a few times the week before trying this Jack up the delica remove the tire take a picture as a ref...

Re: replacing shocks - how to
Wow. This is an old thread.
Going to replace the front shocks on my 1993 L300. I've never replaced shocks before. Anyone have a quick step by step DIY? (photos if possible).
I don't see any guides on delica.ca
Thanks for the help!
