I had that problem with my throttle body, was revving super high followed by dipping and sometimes stalling on a warm start. This great tutorial fixed her up in less than half an hour... it's a pajero, but it's identical components to my 1994 v6:

Does anyone know if this fits an L400, or if there's a good non-hitch rack that does? Also hoping not to rest it on the rear window...

I camperized my L400 a few years ago and kept the seats as it's modular, but have rarely needed them, so we're going to finally let them go. Grey, 2 x captains chairs, 2 x flip up rear seats. This may be way too late, but I have an L400 1994 Super Exceed, with two spare grey captains chairs and two flip ups. I'm looking to sell on the seats as I've not used them for a few years since she was camperized.
