Re: Battery Advice
I'm just going through the same thing, looking for a new battery for my 94 L400. I decided to go with a group 34 yellow top optima. Pricey but I wanted something reliable that could handle a bit of "deep cycle" type use. Going with the single battery will free up space for another deep cyc...

Re: Buying a used L400
I was under the impression that the long wheel was 118" from axle to axle, and that the body was also longer...I ended up getting a LWB, very happy with it, it is enormous.

Re: L400 High Idle Switch
I have the series 1 L400 royal exceed. Ive found where the switch should be, just a plastic plug sitting there. Ill ask around for a switch, anyway I could get an aftermarket fast idle switch to work? Ive found plenty for diesel pickups....not sure if they would work though.

Re: L400 glow plug relay
What size are the electrical connections on that relay? I may need a new one and I really dont want to spend 170$ on a relay when I can get one for 20$. Trying to figure out exactly what I need. A 12V/100A relay with what size connections?
Thanks!
Thanks!

L400 High Idle Switch
Just got my Delica and am now looking to install a high idle switch to help with warming her up and those times when im sitting at idle. Ive been doing a lot of searching, so far i've gathered this: There is a solenoid on the IP I can hook into (Anyone have a picture?) I can remove one of the round ...

Re: Clouds of smoke...
Let us know how much it costs to install a new head with CCAutos. Knock on wood I wont have to for a long time, would be nice to know what i'd be looking at though.
Sorry about your head!

My new L400
Was heading down to coombs to discuss importing vans, decided to pop into the valley to look at one that was just listed and decided to get it. Its a '94 royal exceed, quite happy with it. http://s1382.photobucket.com/user/nadair20/media/imagejpg1_zps35c5e691.jpg.html Have so many questions, heres a...

Re: What should I look for if I want to buy a Delica?
Whats the thought on high mileage L400's? There is one I am interested in but it has nearly 200,000km on it, would cost me about half of what importing a similar model would. From what i've gathered it has all the preventative maintenance done and has been used in Canada for a few years now. Would l...

Comox Valley Delica?
Anyone ever had any interactions with Comox Valley Delica? Im in the process of getting a van, one of the L400's im thinking of was imported and serviced by them. Doesn't seem to be to much info out there about them. Good/Bad reviews? I was planning ln importing one with CCAutos but this other van w...

Re: What should I look for if I want to buy a Delica?
I don't have any experience or knowledge to offer but I am in the same boat as you. I am planning on getting a Delica from a dealer, CCAutos is close to me and has a great rep so thats who im going with. Like you I want a van that is in very good shape with all the preventative maintenance done. It ...

Can't decide - Gas or Diesel?
I know this has been covered before but I just can not decide. Should I go for a gas or diesel Delica? Ive test drove both versions and still cant decide. So far ive come up with these pros and cons: Gas: Quieter Quicker acceleration and higher top speed (not really a factor for me) Cheaper to maint...

Hopeful Delica Owner
Hello, I have wanted a delica for over 5 years now but have never been in the right situation for one until now. My old '93 Nissan Altima has finally bit the dust and its replacement time. :) I always wanted an L300 for the looks but have decided an L400 just makes more sense for me. (I live in Port...
